The Art of Chase

As a belgian artist living in L.A., it is a must for me to write about CHASE, an other belgian artist living in L.A. He is really inspiring and the MenMajor / Men Magazine will have him soon on Interview.

Chase, artist/designer and Belgium transplant now living in Los Angeles, paints free murals around the world depicting young children with the text next to them saying: “Remember Who You Are”. The intent behind the mural campaign is to inspire people to think back and reconnect with a state of being that we all enjoyed when we were children, a state of being that was filled with joy, truth, love and wonder for the world around us. Furthermore, the “Remember Who You Are” campaign also reminds us that we should always remember who we are, where we came from and where we are going.

Some of Chase’s past clients include Puma, Adidas, Levi’s, Scion, Acura, Hot Kiss, Bloomingdale’s, GenArt, Palmer Snowboards and Western Union.

Chase is having an Art exhibition in L.A.:

"Love Made Visible" CHASE Solo Art Show.

From January 16, 2010 to February 20th, 2010.

“Love Made Visible” is a visual experience inspired by philosophy, self empowerment and a sense of wonder for the world around us. A direct extension of the artist’s work in the street, the exhibit features spray painted wood collages, original paintings, serigraphs, sculpture and film. "

Hermes for Men

The Odyssey

Major Odysseus

Welcome in your Odyssey, I am Major Odysseus the 8th. I am representing the Human king from the 25th century. Also, I am a citizen of the “earth” of the 7th parallel world which dwells in the 7th milky way and which they name “Terra Incognita”. After many researches, we found the ability to travel with the mnesic and inferential principle through the memory’s gates times and spaces.

These passages lodge within the crowds connection. Among them, sensitivities and particular memories are increased and by inferring with these last ones, we are able to explore parallels worlds and times.

These particular memories are included in some persons who are exiled from their own sphere and have forgotten their source. They wander on the “earths” looking for an intuition and a specific fragrance which will help them to answer to their eternal question one day. Who are they? Where are they from? And what is the meaning of their life?
